Oli’s Italiano

Architect: Alan Prekop

The main concept of the design was to bring a fragment of Italian aesthetics into the interior—not as a literal reference, but as an atmosphere. The conceptual approach is based on turning the spatial logic inside out: the interior transforms into an exterior, into an imagined Italian balcony or terrace, evoking the experience of sitting in the narrow streets of historic cities where public and private realms naturally overlap.
The expressed materiality does not function as decoration, but as the memory of the place—a quiet counterpoint to the lightness of the new interventions.
